Paris Hilton Sued for Stealing Shoe Design

Paris Hilton isn’t very lucky in business. We have recently heard about her failure in producing champaign and now again she has got a problem.
The socialite is being sued by a shoe company named Gwyneth Shoes for stealing their design – a heart-shaped pad on the insole – and using it in her own fashion line. The company claims the heart cushion idea was patented in 2007, and already a few months later Paris launched her own brand of shoes in February 2008.
Paris is in real trouble as Gwyneth Shoes filed the lawsuit documents last week in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. The company requires to hand over every pair of the shoes they found suspiciouly similar to their own ones.
When Paris was presenting her shoe collection back in February 2008 she felt very happy and called her line chic, high quality and affordable.
She said:
Paris Hilton Footwear is perfect for the fashion-forward young woman who wants to look and feel great from head-to-toe, without spending a fortune.”
I wonder what she will say this time.
