No scientific analysis, just drinking it down on faith, hoping something good is happening.

I shake it up with a big squeeze of fresh lemon juice to taste, cracked ice, optimum with dechlorinated & defluorided water… then down the hatch.

A psychosomatic glow afterwards, thinking all will be better, even without glowing radiant green in the dark.

Pungent, though not soooo bad… oddly enough has me thinking sort of a fish meal factory, without any fish in sight.

So, how did that fish odor originate without any fish?

  2. This is a great product. It tastes awful though.

I recommend trying the pill form.

My immune system was so low this last winter I had to do something. Being a picky eater, I couldn’t just completely change my diet overnight, but I did start to change it some. I have tried daystar botanicals, ALIVE!, and now this Garden of Life product. The other products worked well to get my immunity up (I haven’t had so much as a sneeze or cough since January), but I thought I would look for a product that didn’t cost as much per bottle (free shipping too!). I have now taken the product twice (mixed with apple juice) and both times I have had to really focus in order to keep it down (remember the picky eater thing). I am going to try this for a few more days just to really give it a chance. I was impressed by the ingredients and would like to see if there is a difference in the way I feel compared to the other products. I will try to update this in the next week.

I have tried many different green drinks before and am used to eating and drinking unpleasant tasting things for the health benefits alone but this was just too aweful, I could barely get it down. I really wanted to try it because the ingredients look great, one of the best I have seen but I just can not tollerate the taste. I thought the addition of stevia would help but it couldn’t really cover up the very stong taste.

  5. Tastes awful, expensive, and why not just use pure chlorella and/or spirulina powders? Those are the best ingredients in this and any other green food supplement/superfood that is worth anything. Kelp, wheatgrass, alfalfa, are great, but not as good as algae powders. I consider them fillers for green drinks and now prefer straight spirulina or chlorella.
